Cheesy ALDI Skillet Pasta (One-Pot Meal)

Ingredients (from ALDI):

  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey/sausage)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups chicken or beef broth
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (dry)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef (or turkey/sausage) over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened (about 3–4 minutes).
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the dry pasta directly into the skillet. Stir, cover, and simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  5. Remove lid, sprinkle mozzarella over the top, cover again, and let melt.
  6. Serve hot as a hearty one-pot dinner!
