Poshmark has officially rolled out a major shipping update—and it’s a win for resellers. As of September 12, 2025, the platform has transitioned from USPS Priority Mail to USPS Ground Advantage. This transition brings the flat-rate shipping fee down to $6. That’s the lowest it’s been in years, and it’s a game-changer for bundle sellers and heavier items.

But with this change comes a packaging shift. If you’ve been relying on free Priority Mail supplies, it’s time to pivot. Here’s everything you need to know to stay compliant and keep your workflow smooth.

💰 What’s Changing with Poshmark Shipping

• New Rate: $6.49 flat for packages up to 5 lbs
• New Service: USPS Ground Advantage (2–5 business days delivery)
• Packaging Rules: USPS Priority Mail boxes and envelopes will no longer be accepted after October 12, 2025. Using them will result in a $5 USPS fee charged to the buyer.

📦 How to Get Free USPS Ground Advantage Packaging

Poshmark has partnered with USPS to offer exclusive free packaging for sellers. Available supplies include:

• Polymailers
• Padded mailers
• Standard boxes

2. Provide your Poshmark closet name to verify eligibility
3. Request Ground Advantage supplies specifically

This packaging is only available to verified Poshmark sellers, so make sure you have your closet name ready when you call.

🛍️ How to Find Your Poshmark Closet Name

Before you call USPS, you’ll need to know your closet name, which is your unique seller ID on Poshmark.

On the Poshmark App:

• Tap your profile icon (bottom right)
• Your closet name appears at the top of your profile page, usually in the format @yourusername

On Desktop:

• Log in and click your profile photo in the top right corner
• Select “My Closet” from the dropdown
• Your closet name is the last part of the web address shown in your browser (e.g., staceyknows)

Write it down or save it somewhere handy—you’ll need it when requesting packaging.

🛠️ What to Do with Your Old Priority Mail Supplies

• Return full packs (10 or 25 count) to your local post office
• Use leftover materials for non-Poshmark Priority Mail shipments
• Recycle any unusable packaging
