Spinach and Mushroom Quiche: Another Favorite Aldi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 premade pie crust (Aldi’s Simply Organic brand)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach (Aldi’s Simply Organic brand)
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (Aldi’s Simply Organic brand)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Aldi’s Specially Selected brand)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are soft and browned.
  4. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Stir in the shredded cheese.
  6. Spread the cooked spinach and mushroom mixture evenly over the premade pie crust.
  7. Pour the egg and cheese mixture over the spinach and mushrooms.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
  9. Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
