Let\u2019s break it down:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>For Sellers:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Zero Selling Fees for New Listings:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">If you create a\u00a0<strong>new listing after 8:30 AM ET on March 27, 2024<\/strong>, you won\u2019t pay any selling fees. List your items without worry!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Existing listings will still have a\u00a0<strong>10% selling fee<\/strong>\u00a0unless updated after the specified date<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>For Buyers:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Payment Processing Fee:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">When making a purchase, buyers will be charged a\u00a0<strong>Payment Processing Fee<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>$0.50<\/strong>\u00a0plus\u00a0<strong>2.9%<\/strong>\u00a0of the transaction price (including item price, shipping, service fee, and sales tax).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Note: This fee doesn\u2019t apply when using your Mercari balance or credit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Enhanced Returns Policy:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Buyers can now return items for\u00a0<strong>any reason<\/strong>\u00a0and receive a refund.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Return shipping is\u00a0<strong>free<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why These Changes Matter:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Zero selling fees<\/strong>\u00a0empower sellers to set competitive prices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Buyers benefit from a\u00a0<strong>transparent payment processing fee<\/strong>\u00a0and hassle-free returns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mercari is working hard to attract both buyers and sellers to their platform.
