The answer is Grandma Mary and Mom.<\/h3>\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0My grandmother could command a room, a situation and a family.\u00a0 She ran a business from her home. \u00a0She sold a product line of pens, calendars, business cards and advertising materials.\u00a0 She not only sold those products but she ran a horse farm. \u00a0\u00a0She bargained, bartered and swapped items to keep her farm running.\u00a0 She saw dollar signs in every interaction.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 One of my favorite memorie<\/strong>s is Grandma taking me to a local coffee shop.\u00a0 We sat down and other customers and workers knew her.\u00a0 People came over and talked to her.\u00a0 She had sample pens clipped on her shirt to pass out to potential customers.\u00a0 She had business card samples at the ready.\u00a0 She was smooth.\u00a0 She smiled, leaned in and focused on everyone.<\/p>\n

\u00a0She was a force and people wanted to be around her.\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 My mother sold many products from home.\u00a0 She purchased kits of make up products, clothing, \u00a0kitchen aides and scented items.\u00a0 She interacted with friends and relatives and enlisted them to host parties for her to sell her wares.\u00a0 She also talked friends and family into purchasing her products. \u00a0I also watched my mother navigate negative situations.\u00a0 At times she had to pay up front for items and did not receive her money back.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 From my mother and grandmother I learned three\u00a0 lessons.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Failure is OK. From the debri of failure, you can build an empire.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Sharing your success has value. I want to share with the world that anyone can make money to make their dreams come true. YOU CAN DO THIS TOO!!!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Gathering free knowledge and information from women who have done it before is priceless.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I work from home in part to role model entrepreneurial behavior for my girls. They see me listing items, printing labels, handling customer service and mailing packages.\u00a0 They are intrigued by my business and want to help me.\u00a0 They love finding sold items and putting the labels on the packages.\u00a0 I am empowering them to learn processes and to see the results of sales.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

        \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The cycle is complete.\u00a0<\/h2>\n
